Dr. Bronner's was founded in 1948 by Emanuel Bronner. Bronner came from a long line of soap makers and decided that he wanted to keep the family tradition alive. Dr. Bronner's soaps are renowned for their quality, versatility and eco-friendliness. In 2008 when they celebrated their 60th anniversary, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps announced that all classic liquid & bar soaps are now not only certified under the USDA National Organic Program, but also certified Fair Trade!
