Since the launch of Nayla Natural Care, the content of this blog has been mostly about store related items, new products, sales etc. I have been thinking long and hard on how to make things a bit more interesting, (not that new products and sales are not interesting!) and have decided on how to change things up a bit.

Starting soon, I will begin posting about a variety of different topics. Interviews with experts, green services making a difference, green products that are healthier for both your family and the environment (not always necessarily items that I carry in the store!), reviews on books, on products, and a whole lot more (all while staying on topic of course!) Maybe even a contest or two? Oh, and not to worry, I will still be posting about the usual store related news!

This line first caught our eye quite a while back and we are so excited to finally have it in our store to offer to you! Eco-Me manufactures do it yourself cleaning product kits.

Common cleaning products that you can find in your local stores contain so many harmful chemicals, awful things that you would not want anywhere near you, let alone your children! We can go on about this one, but we'll leave that for another separate blog post!

We have tried out and have brought into our store the 100% Natural Baby Diaper Pail Deodorizer and the 100% Natural Baby Cleaning Kit (shown in the image). The idea is simple. The kits contain recyclable jars, scoops, essential oil blends etc., everything you need to get started. All that is left to do is for you to add some simple household ingredients such as water, vinegar and/or baking soda and you have your cleaning kit all ready to go!

We have tested out both of these kits and were really impressed. In fact, we are so impressed by this line that we will be bringing in more Eco-Me household products to the store in the near future! They are easy to make, smell great and they work!

All Eco-Me products are manufactured in the USA. All mixers, scoops and jars are re-fillable, re-useable and recyclable.

Nayla Natural Care was recently featured in the Ottawa edition of Savvy Mom and earned the distinction of being Savvy Mom approved! I have been a subscriber of Savvy Mom for quite a while now, so being interviewed by Andrea was fun and becoming approved is a great honor!

So what exactly is Savvy Mom for those of you who do not know? Well, as described on the Savvy Mom website:

Bamboobino is a wonderful Canadian and mom created company based in Vancouver BC and we are so happy to be carrying some of their wonderful products!

Just like the thinksport bottles, the thinkbaby trainer cups have not been available in Canada for the past few months because of their high popularity. We are happy to let you know that we have received our shipment so they are back in stock and ready to ship!

We are very happy to announce that the RiNGLEY is finally in stock! We had tried to get this item in store for our launch, but it is so popular is has been backordered until now! The RiNGLEY is the creation of a Toronto mom who wanted to create a natural teether for her daughter after all of the scary product recalls that have been in the news lately. The RiNGLEY is made of 100% certified organic terry cloth and Canadian Maple wood. Babies love to chew on it because it really helps to soothe a teething baby's sore gums.

So we are finally here! After months of work, we have launched our beautiful site. We carry alot of wonderful lines and really hope that you enjoy them as much as we do. We spent alot of time looking for neat and unique products and found quite a few. It's our goal to always offer you something a little different, things that you don't see too often, but at the same time the product must be high quality and safe, a challenge that we are most certainly up for! Should you have any questions at all about any of our products, please send them in. We have alot of exciting plans for the future of our store, so please bookmark us and check back often to see what is new!
