Yesterday we posted about Etsy, the great online marketplace where you can find just about anything handmade by great artisans. Sweetbeets happens to be a wonderful store you can find on Etsy. Sweetbeets is owned and operated by Lisa Zuraw of Toronto.

Each of her designs are her own sketches and are all inspired by watching her children play (the name Sweetbeets comes from the nickname her husband would call their boys, cute!)

All Sweetbeets cards are made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper and are made here in Canada! A vintage printing press is used to create the great textures and designs. Sweetbeets cards are letterpress printed using vegetable-based inks.

As if she weren't busy enough, Zuraw also maintains a wonderful blog called Modeco Kids. She describes it as follows:

We just discovered Etsy a few months back and it is great! For those of you who don't know, Etsy is an online marketplace where you can buy or sell your handmade goods. It is like a giant online craft fair! You can find anything from stationary to clothing to jewellery even toys, and it is all made by hand!
